Cowell then said “Purple Rain” is his favourite song of all time, and that Prince is the greatest artist of all time. He continued, saying, “And you said it was gonna be good – it wasn’t. It was incredible. It was honestly a moment I will never, ever forget, and I really pray that this moment will change your lives.”
Cowell then hit the golden buzzer, prompting a riotous celebration from Sainted and the audience, as Cowell looked on like a proud dad. The decision sent the group straight to the finals.
