Prince Plays Awesome Solo

American singer-songwriter Prince along with his band “The Revolution” performed the song “Purple Rain”. The song was the title of a popular film by the same name released in 1984.

Prince released an album called purple rain which was the soundtrack to the film which starred Prince, Purple Rain was the third track on the album.

The song peaked at number 2 on the Billboard hot 100 and remained in 2nd for two weeks before being beaten to the top spot by the Wham super hit “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”. However, the song did hit number 1 in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The song is loved by many people and is dubbed as one of Prince’s greatest songs by many of his fans. In France, the song only reached number 12 when it was originally released, however after Price died the song flew back into the charts and hit the number 1 spot posthumous.

This is Miguel Montalban, an excellent guitarist who comes from Santiago, Chile. Miguel is also a composer and songwriter and has been dubbed “One of the greatest young guitarists around”.
