He is the fastest-talking man on the planet and has used his skill for adverts, legal readings and holds a Guinness World Record for his quick talking. This record was later broken by Steve Woodmore who was able to speak 647 words per minute and then that record was broken by Sean Shannon who hit 655 in August 1995. However, John holds a high standard of articulation which he has questioned other record-holders over.
Moschitta’s lightning-fast speech delivery, demonstrated in over 100 commercials as “The Micro Machines Man,” has caused viewers to be spellbound by his velocity and expertise. Astonishingly, in 1981, he even managed to score a role in a FedEx advertisement, signifying his talent goes beyond just speaking quickly.
Moschitta also lent his voice to the iconic character Blurr in The Transformers: The Movie (1986), The Transformers (1986–1987), Transformers: Animated (2008–2009), and two direct-to-video films. Moschitta’s voice acting abilities are just as remarkable as his rapid-speaking prowess.
