This performance of Tennessee Whiskey is one of his most popular videos, and for good reason. The video starts with Dovydas busking on the street. One of the crowd asks him to play Tennessee Whiskey, and Dovydas explains he doesn't know it, but he'll try anyway. That's when a member of the crowd pops up and says he can sing it. After a quick chat to establish the right key, the duet begins. Dovydas kicks things off, creating a beautiful blend of instruments.

After a little while, he hands the microphone over to his guest performer. When he begins to sing, the crowd goes wild. His voice is smoky and soulful and seems made to sing this song. At the end of the song, our mystery singer says his name is Vere Hill, and Dovydas tells the crowd there's no way anything will top that performance. Vere now has a budding music career of his own.

About Dovydas

His parents were not musicians, his father was a painter, and his mother was a stay at home mum. Dovydas took private guitar lessons when he was thirteen and later enrolled himself in the Kaunas Children Music School. He moved on to Kaunas Juozas Gruodis Music Conservatory in 2010. While he was studying guitar, he also learned to play the bass, piano, drums, harmonica and xylophone.

While he was still at school, he founded his first band. It was originally called David Smash and the Smash Band but was later shortened to The David Smash Band. They built a following by entering competitions and festivals, finally becoming festival headliners across Lithuania and Poland. Dovydas's music was inspired by a blues cd bought by his father.

So it made sense that at 19, he connected with a blues musician called Steve Arvey and eventually moved to Florida. He learned that television wasn't where stars were made anymore, and he put his whole focus on YouTube. He recorded videos of him performing at venues around Sarasota and uploaded them.

Dovydas has built his YouTube following to almost 1.3 million people, but this video seems to have struck a chord with fans; it's been watched nearly 16 million times. In addition to his YouTube channel, Dovydas has also released two albums which are available on Spotify and Apple Music. Although his net worth has never been officially published, it is estimated at between $1-2 million.

Dovydas is married to Jill, who features in several of his social media and YouTube posts. The exact date of their wedding is unknown, and they do not appear to have any children. The posts suggest they have a very loving marriage, however, so maybe this is something they plan on doing later. Til then, Dovydas continues t perform and create innovative arrangements that delight audiences across America and the world.
