Chinese School Principal Invents Genius Way Of Engaging Children

Zhang taught himself to shuffle dance and believed he could help his students “exercise more” using the dance, so he started teaching them during their break times. In China, a primary school principal has taken an innovative approach to keeping his students active during their school day and off their phones. His name is Zhang, and he became concerned after seeing his students spending many hours staring at their phones, computers and tablets. Wondering how he could inspire his students, Zhang taught himself to shuffle dance. Once he had learned the dance, he believed he could impress his students enough to make them want to learn the dance themselves. He started teaching them during their break times and it wasn’t long before the entire school were off their phones and dancing around the playground.
