It’s not every day that you get to meet your stars, but in today’s video, Anjali Singh went one step further and became the envy of Celine Dion fans across the globe. In this viral hit, we can see that Celine Dion was performing at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2019 when 7-year-old Anjani was presented with an opportunity to perform with her favorite singer.
Despite being only seven years old, and standing in front of one of the greatest and best-known singers of all time, young Anjani Singh is incredibly composed and collected (and excited!). But her day was made when she was given the chance to perform solo in front of a full house, with Celene Dion watching behind her in awe of her spirit and voice. Watch the incredible video below:
Performing in front of a crowd at any age can be a daunting experience, but young Anjani makes it look effortless as she sings in front of a staggering 4,000 people in one of the busiest cities in the whole world. Not only does she do this, but she blows the crowd away with her passionate and powerful singing voice, complete with control that most would be jealous of. Needless to say, Celene Dion is incredibly supportive of Anjani and hypes the crowd up for her, boosting her confidence further.
Celene Dion is best known as the Queen Of Power Ballad. Her music has spanned decades, and for that, she needs little introduction, however, she has created some of the most memorable and successful power ballads of all time and won countless awards for her contributions to music. Back to Anjani’s performance. A roar of applause can be heard from the audience as she sings in front of one of her idols, and Celene can be seen smiling during her performance. Simply taken aback by Anjani’s sweet nature, yet impressive confidence, she declares that Anjani is precious and reminds her of herself, which is a huge compliment from such an icon of the music industry. She even asks Anjani for an autograph later in the video, confident that one day she will be a star herself.
Since her once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sing for Celene Dion, Anjani Singh has been incredibly busy developing a vocal profession. She has also gathered a respectable social following, which has allowed her to perform at some impressive events. For example, in 2023 she performed America’s national anthem for the Acura Long Beach Grand Prix in downtown California, and also for the opening of the UCLA football season.
