Bryant Thomas went TikTok-viral when his girlfriend began posting reaction clips of him singing in the shower. While Bryant’s identity had never been revealed, more than 110,000 fans fell in love with his rich vocal tones, leaving the internet to question – who is the mystery man behind this stellar voice?
In 2026, Bryant decided to finally reveal himself by auditioning for American Idol. But his face reveal wasn’t the only surprise he had in store…
Music Man readers can check out Bryant’s outstanding audition in the viral clip above—it’s already racked up more than 186,000 views to date!
Bryant’s girlfriend Alyona kickstarts the audition by unraveling their story of finding TikTok fame. She explains, “The camera is never on [Bryant], it’s always on me doing my hair and makeup, so it’s just me reacting,” before becoming emotional describing their relationship, telling, “I didn’t think that love ever existed like this until I met him.”
Bryant, 26, stands behind a huge pillar in the American Idol audition room, keeping his identity concealed. It’s an absurd start, but the judges understand and joke with the mystery singer during a quick interview.
As Bryant starts singing Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now),” it’s clear how he became an internet star despite keeping his identity anonymous. His voice is instantly striking, soulful, pitch-perfect, and flooded with pure emotion; a real undiscovered pro.
The judges are stunned, lip-syncing to Bryant’s voice. But then, the star finally steps out from behind the pillar in the moment the world had been waiting for.
As his song draws to a close and the judges give Bryant a standing ovation, they ask for the final step of the singer’s identity reveal – to remove his mirrored shades and truly show his face to the world. Bryant plays along with their request, soon being smothered with praise for his jaw-dropping, “outrageous” voice and absolute star power.
Just as the judges cast their votes, girlfriend Alyona enters the audition room with Bryant’s family to watch him receive three out of three Yeses.
But Bryant interrupts them as they tell him he’s through to the next stage, about to drop the biggest surprise of his entire audition. He gets down on one knee, pulls out a ring, and proposes to Alyona in front of everyone!
