Nobody expected The Pussycat Dolls to reform for this epic AMAs concert with Busta Rhymes…

Pussycat Dolls shocked the pop scene last month when they hit the American Music Awards with a surprise comeback performance—flooding fans with noughties’ nostalgia, while ushering in a brand new era for the chart-topping girl group.

As if Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt gracing the stage in red lycra wasn’t enough to send the internet into meltdown, the ladies were joined by a special guest from their ‘00s heyday as they wrapped up their four-track medley with one of their greatest hits: “Don’t Cha.”

Music Man readers can watch the moment unfold in the viral video above – it’s already stunned over 1.9 million viewers in little more than a week of reaching YouTube!

The Pussycat Dolls kick off the medley with their debut album single, “Buttons” (a track originally featuring Snoop Dogg), their flawlessly timed choreography stealing the show as the star-studded audience watches on, utterly astonished as Nicole exclaims, “We’re back!”

“Buttons” melts into the high-energy chorus of their 2008 single, “When I Grow Up,” swiftly followed by a snippet of the girl group’s 2026 comeback single, “Club Song” – the full version of which Music Man readers can listen to above.

The true magic is unleashed as Nicole amps up the audience, “This one is for all my OG Pussycat Dolls out there,” cueing the intro to the band’s global Top 5 single, “Don’t Cha.” But no one could have expected The Pussycat Dolls’ surprise guest and original “Don’t Cha” collaborator, Busta Rhymes, to hit the stage.

Busta struts out with his hype man, Spliff Star, wearing a matching red suit and grooving with the Dolls on the mid-audience platform stage as he resurrects his original rap section just like the single released 22 years ago.

The whole moment is throwing millennials into the ultimate flashback, with thousands of viewers flocking to the comments section to spread nothing but adoration for the Dolls’ comeback set.

One top commenter realized, to the tune of over 1,100 likes, “Nicole is almost 50. ALMOST 50. Ashley and Kim are 44. The fact that they can still sing and dance like they did 20 years ago is AMAZING.”

Another fan pointed out, “Real vocals, no lip sync going on. They were on fire,” another adding, “They still have the spark, the kick and can still rule the stage. What an iconic performance,” as yet another fan wrote, “They can outperform half of the 20-year-old performers these days….. they killed it! Love it!”

But it was frontlady Nicole Scherzinger who truly stole the show, with one fan noticing, “Nicole’s performances have always been flawless. She never misses the camera and gives 100% every time. No shortcuts, just pure hard work and dedication. I really admire her ambition and drive.”
