Family band Missioned Souls are going viral thanks to their recent rockin’ cover of Europe’s “The Final Countdown.” 1.3 million fans were melting seeing the sweet family vibes as mum, dad, and the four talented kids all played together like a top-flight rock act. Viewers could not stop replaying 16-year-old Neisha shredding up the guitar solo with a face-melting harmonised lead break – this kid is seriously talented.
And get ready to be bowled over by the thunderous beats of the Filipino family’s 12-year-old John Bonham, Isaiah. You also have to give it up to the ladies of the Alipio family, who dropped gorgeous four-part harmony vocals, making the ‘80s hit really pop. Mum Sheena, 17-year-old keyboardist Nace, 16-year-old guitarist Neisha, and 13-year-old frontwoman Stacey make for a seriously mean vocal quartet. The Music Man has to say rock ‘n’ roll is in safe hands with this kind of talent coming through the pipeline!
Missioned Souls uploaded their take on “The Final Countdown” on June 27, 2026. Fans found a lot to like and added comments such as “Mom and Dad, you have such an amazing group of family. Missioned Souls have put a number of viral videos on the board on their YouTube channel. One of their most popular performances is their rendition of the Guns N’ Roses classic “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” This was a great showcase for the talents of Neisha, who really rocked Slash’s iconic lead guitar parts on this number. Eldest sibling Naces also showed off her versatility by switching up from keyboard to bass guitar and dropping a hypnotic groove.
Missioned Souls is a six-piece band made up of the members of the Alipio family, who are based in Talisay City, Cebu. The band features dad Secan (bass), mum Sheena (vocals), and kids Naces (17, keyboards), Neisha (16, lead guitar), Stacey (12, lead vocals, rhythm guitar), and Isaiah (12, drums). The band states that they are inspired by their Christian faith to share their musical gifts to give glory to God.
