A Madonna Concert Is Already A Big Event, But When This Aussie Pop Star Joined Her Voice With The Material Girl On This Soul Classic, The Electric Vibe Went Through The Roof!

When Kylie Minogue walked onstage at Madonna’s concert, the Aussie pop icon declared it had been a “long, long, long time coming,” but you better believe it was worth the wait! The pair sang Gloria Gaynor’s soul classic “I Will Survive” and Minogue’s signature hit “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” at Madonna’s show on March 7, 2024, in Inglewood, California.

Madonna kicked off the epic collab by singing “I Will Survive” while playing acoustic guitar, and then Kylie sang that iconic pre-chorus, before the pair sang together on the chorus. It was a really sweet singalong duet, and the crowd sure didn’t disappoint with the backing vocals. It was such a magical moment to see the two pop stars together onstage, and The Music Man readers will be happy to hear they delivered big time in the vocal department!

Minogue and Madonna teamed up on March 7, 2024, at the latter’s show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. The Aussie pop star came out one-third of the way during the nearly three-hour show, and footage of her duet with Madonna attracted one million views on YouTube. The pair showed plenty of love for each other onstage, with Madonna opening the segment by saying, “Now this is what we call a survivor!” and adding that it was a privilege to be up there with Minogue.

Fans were loving seeing the two stars perform together and added comments such as “OMG. Two of the most iconic female singers on stage together. I love these girls” and “I have waited nearly thirty years for this. Well done! Madonna and Kylie rock the world!” Madonna is no stranger to big-name collabs, as seen with her performance with Taylor Swift on “Ghosttown.”

The Music Man readers won’t be surprised to see “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” on the setlist for the Minogue and Madonna collab. The Aussie songstress dropped the dance-pop tune on September 8, 2001, as the lead single for her eighth studio album Fever. Both the song and the album topped the charts in the UK and Australia. Driven by the success of the single, Fever also peaked at number three in the US, becoming Minogue’s only album to enter the top 10 in the country. “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” has continued to be a Minogue live staple and is her most streamed song on Spotify with 581 million views.
