Lynnea Moorer, also known as “Lynnea M”, is a singer from Oakland California who now resides in Lacombe Canada. Born on 21st August 1999, Moorer is a horoscope loving Leo who shares her birthday with Olympian Usain Bolt and Actress Hayden Panettierre. With her parents incarcerated at a young age, Moorer was raised by her grandparents alongside her twin sister.
Growing up, she attended Monterey Bay Academy, a co-ed Christian boarding high school in Northern California where she practiced her love of music through extra-curricular activities like joining the school’s band. Alongside her studies she earned money working as a snack bar attendant at The Carmel Youth Center, a center started by Bing Crosby in 1949 to help kids develop valuable life skills.
Moorer, whose music genre of choice is pop first, entered the public eye when she started posting covers of popular songs by artists like Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Ariana Grande on her YouTube channel. Her first video was a ukelele cover of Tatiana Manaois’ ‘Helplessly’ that was uploaded in July 2014. Notably, her cover of ‘Lovely’ by Billie Eilish has accumulated over 9M views and she now has now amassed over 1.5M subscribers.

In 2018, Moorer appeared as a contestant on Season 15 of the popular American singing competition TV show ‘The Voice’. After a performance of Camilla Cabello’s ‘Consequences’, Moorer received praise from the singer herself on Twitter. Upon re-entering the competition, Moorer chose to join Kelly Clarkson’s team as her fourth and final member. Since leaving the show Moorer and Clarkson have maintained a friendly relationship with Clarkson even inviting Moorer to perform with her on her US tour ‘The meaning of life’, Clarkson’s first tour in three and a half years.
In 2019, Moorer released the single ‘Silence is all I have now’ with musician and editor Kurt Hugo Schneider which now has over 1M listens on Spotify alone and was featured on Schneiders album ‘Kurt and Company Vol8’. In 2021 Moorer released a number of singles including ‘Traffic Lights’, ‘Let Go’ and ‘Her’ with her Spotify account seeing an impressive 26,000 visitors on a monthly basis. Alongside her musical releases, Moorer enjoys releasing music videos.
Moorer is now a pre-med student at Burman University in Alberta. Through her YouTube channel she is able to earn an extra income to support her studies. Despite rumours of various boyfriends in recent years, Moorer is thought to currently be single, focusing largely on her music and career.
