Harry Styles & Shania Twain’s GLITZY Coachella Duet: “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”

Californian music festival Coachella has hosted a wild array of stars performing stand-out gigs, from Beyoncé to Lady Gaga. But during Harry Styles’ headlining set during the first weekend of Coachella 2022, no one could have anticipated the surprise duet with Shania Twain that would go on to take the internet by storm!

These Grammy-award-winning artists joined forces to perform a zesty cover of Shania’s 1999 hit single, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” and their voices were the ultimate match. Harry feigned confusion as the track’s legendary opening riff kicked off, before Shania rose on a platform at the stage’s rear in a shock moment that’s amassed over 1.5M YouTube views across multiple uploads.

Aged 56 during this set, Shania’s voice sounded exactly like the record, perfectly iconic as she strutted the steps to meet Harry (aged 28) at center-stage. The duo’s outfits complemented each other like a dream; both decked in shimmering, dark rainbows which brought disco fever back to life. Their audience of 100,000+ echoed the glittering hen night energy, singing back every line of the song and dancing carefree in the huge crowd.

This Coachella performance also saw Harry Styles debut his smash hit “As It Was” live, just two weeks after its official release as a single, alongside two tracks from his then-upcoming album, “Harry’s House.”

According to Good Morning America, Harry Styles has been a lifelong fan of Shania Twain, revealing to the Coachella crowd, “In the car with my mother as a child, this lady taught me to sing. She also taught me that men are trash.” In this full-circle moment, the respect the duo shares on stage is absolutely heartwarming.

Harry Styles shot to fame with One Direction; the X Factor-created boy band that went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands of all time, winning a shocking total of 50 awards across the music scene including two Brit Awards, seven AMAs, and sixteen Teen Choice Awards. Harry’s solo career, launched in 2017, made him a three-time Grammy winner, while his biggest solo single to date, “Sign of the Times” has amassed over 1.2 BILLION YouTube views!

Shania Twain, meanwhile, is credited as the best-selling female artist in the history of country music, rising to fame with mid-90s albums “The Woman In Me” and “Come On Over.” Born in Ontario, Canada, Shania’s unique styling of country pop/rock has earned her an incredible 39 BMI Songwriter Awards alongside inductions into multiple prestigious Halls of Fame including Nashville Songwriter’s HoF and the Canadian Music HoF.
