Californian music festival Coachella has hosted a wild array of stars performing stand-out gigs, from Beyoncé to Lady Gaga. But during Harry Styles’ headlining set during the first weekend of Coachella 2022, no one could have anticipated the surprise duet with Shania Twain that would go on to take the internet by storm!
These Grammy-award-winning artists joined forces to perform a zesty cover of Shania’s 1999 hit single, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” and their voices were the ultimate match. Harry feigned confusion as the track’s legendary opening riff kicked off, before Shania rose on a platform at the stage’s rear in a shock moment that’s amassed over 1.5M YouTube views across multiple uploads.
Aged 56 during this set, Shania’s voice sounded exactly like the record, perfectly iconic as she strutted the steps to meet Harry (aged 28) at center-stage. The duo’s outfits complemented each other like a dream; both decked in shimmering, dark rainbows which brought disco fever back to life. Their audience of 100,000+ echoed the glittering hen night energy, singing back every line of the song and dancing carefree in the huge crowd.
