Back in 2022, however, that is exactly what some lucky shoppers were treated to when they stumbled across a man playing an insane classical-inspired rendition of ‘Everlong’ by the Foo Fighters on a piano.
Dressed casually in a black shirt and shorts, at first glance this did not look like the sort of man who went around performing piano renditions worthy of a huge audience. As his fingers touched the keys, however, it became clear this performance was undoubtedly going to be extraordinary, and it’s little wonder the video of the rendition has since racked up nearly two million views on YouTube alone.
The YouTube comments section also reflects the love that many viewers have for this rendition. “Imagine paying nothing to see this legend play. Epic,” said one fan, whilst another revealed that they thought they would hate the video, but it exceeded their wildest expectations. “I’d be lying if I said this didn’t give me goosebumps,” said another viewer, further revealing the power of the performance.
