Old Lady Leaves Millions of Viewers Smiling With Joyful Dance Moment

When you think of fans of musicians like Drake and Rihanna, Music Man readers, you probably think of people who are on the younger end of the scale. Back in 2018, however, an old lady proved such assumptions wrong when she heard a song by these artists being played in a shopping centre and immediately broke out into a joyful dance!

The song in question was called ‘Too Good’ (which also samples a Popcaan song called ‘Love Yuh Bad’), and footage of the lady’s funky moves was captured by YouTuber DJ Twin-T. Perhaps the best part of the video is seeing the joy spread across the faces of the other shoppers as they see the old lady move, with some of them even getting their phones out to film the wonderful moment.

The lady went viral all over the internet too, with the video of her dancing having been watched by nearly two million people on YouTube alone. Someone in the comments section, meanwhile, revealed that the lady is a regular visitor to the shopping centre; “she still comes and dances with us, when the weather isn’t too bad we see her almost every day.”

Another viral video with a similar number of YouTube views that captures an older lady busting her best moves is the video below. It shows a 90-year-old woman with her walking frame hearing Salsa music and immediately getting her groove on, again bringing joy and smiles to the faces of millions of viewers around the world.

There have been countless dancing videos uploaded to YouTube over the years, but my personal favourite is the one that shows the old lady busting a move to Drake and Rihanna in a shopping centre. There is something about the joy on her face and those of the people around her that restores your faith in humanity; if there were more moments like this happening every day, then the world would be a much better place!
