Music Meets Nature In A Beautiful Moment
This is Andy Thorn a musician from North Carolina who had a very interesting musical encounter with a wild fox while he was playing the banjo.
The wild animal seemed to enjoy the banjo picking and decided to hang around for more. Andy captioned the video he uploaded to YouTube with the following, “When your summer tours end, so you’re testing out some new material on a fox — and they come back for an encore.” Watch the brilliant moment in the video below.
However, this wasn’t the first time the fox had shown up to one of Andy’s outdoor jam sessions. Andy and this wild fox have recently developed a musical friendship after the creature repeatedly showed up to listen to him performing and recording YouTube videos!
Andy’s YouTube channel is called “ThornHub” and has hit nearly half a million views since he opened his account in 2015.
Andy first started playing the banjo when he was only 12 years old. According to his official website, he bought his first banjo at his neighbor’s yard sale in a moment of inspiration and hasn’t looked back since!
With a musical passion now roaring inside him he went on to study at the University of North Carolina getting himself a degree in Jazz Guitar.
Since getting himself a degree he has moved to Colorado where he joined a band called The Broke Moutain Bluegrass Band which included Anders Beck from Greensky Bluegrass and Travis Book from The Infamous Stringdusters in its lineup.
Andy is a talented musician and it seems he might also be the musical Doctor Dolittle as continues to perform in front of his new super fan, a music-loving fox. If you want to learn more about Andy Thorn go to his official website or subscribe to his YouTube channel or follow him on Facebook.
