Andrea Bocelli and Céline Dion – The Prayer
Two untouchable voices met on stage back in 2015 to perform a beautiful live version of “The Prayer”. The song was originally recorded in two different languages, one in English by Celine Dion and the other in Italian by Andrea Bocelli. Both versions were recorded for the 1998 film Quest for Camelot.
The duo decided to team up and release a duet version of the song in studio recorded albums that followed the release of the film. This resulted in the song winning multiple awards. Watch their fantastic performance of this heavenly song in the video below.
A special mention should go out to the writers of this beautiful song. It was written by David Foster, Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa and Tony Renis. Their song writing skills alongside the incredible talents and showmanship of Andrea and Celine won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1999 and a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals in 2000.

The tenor singer Andrea Bocelli is known as a living legend amongst music fans across the globe. His wonderful voice has captured the hearts of millions over the years, especially with high-profile and family duets. His voice seems to compliment whoever is performing with him.
Elton John is seen by many as one of the world’s greatest ever musicians. An exceptional pianist, personality and of course, songwriter. Above is Sir Elton performing. This magical pairing was brought onto the stage at the “Colosseo di Roma” back in 2017 as part of the Andrea Bocelli Show.
