US Marines Faced Off With South Korean Marines In An Epic Dance Off, And 21 Million Music Lovers Just Could Not Get Enough!

So it turns out that South Korean soldiers have a knack for going viral for their dance skills, which will surprise no one who has ever watched a K-pop music video. This time around, the South Korean Marines had to share the spotlight with the US Marines, who engaged them in a good ol’ fashioned dance-off to a banging hip-hop beat. The dance comp started with a US Marine throwing down, and let me tell ya, this bloke carried his whole country in this battle.

The US Marine displayed some mad skills, which he showed off to a throbbing gangsta beat. He threw down all the moves, doing the robot, plenty of hip hop moves and hyping up the crowd for good measure. The American got real cheeky with the Koreans, so naturally when it was their turn they had to turn up the heat. The South Korean Marine who came out first showed off a lithe and sassy hip hop dance and gave back plenty of attitude to the Americans. Make sure to tell us who you think won!

When the Koreans came out, no doubt everyone was thinking some K-pop star was going to go out there and own the dancefloor, but it turns out they sent the K-pop guys to the Army, which you’ll see in the video below. However, the South Korean marine sure did his country proud with his hip hop moves. I have to say though, the first US dancer had the whole thing on lock. He had some crazy skills, and his confidence and vibe were just untouchable.

The video was uploaded by US Marine Zack Pos, where it drew 21 million views. Pos explained the background to the dance-off in the video description, saying that the video was captured during integrated training between the two Marine Corps and that he was in the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines at the time. He added that “We had a real good time with the bois here.” The South Korean Army boys also have some mean moves, as seen in a viral performance from five K-pop stars during their service.

The second video showcases members from K-pop boy groups ONF and SF9. Five members from the two groups teamed up during their military service to perform K-pop girl group New Jeans’ hit “Hype Boy.” The lads really showed off their versatility by nailing the moves made originally for female dancers, and boy did they slay that stage!
