We all love hearing the best and brightest new talents on The Voice, but this time, the coaches stole the whole darn show! The biggest hit on The Voice 2025, with 3.5 million views in two weeks, was dropped by none other than Michael Bublé, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg! The coaches showed The Voice hopefuls how it’s done with a rollicking feel-good version of the Steve Miller Band classic “The Joker”.
Fans loved the cheeky vibes and immaculate harmonies on the cover of the ’73 hit, and the top commenter spoke for us all saying, “This is hands down the BEST coach lineup ever. Their chemistry is literally unmatched!” It won’t surprise The Music Man readers to hear that there were plenty of amazing vocals on display; what really made the cover stand out is just how much fun the coaches were having together.
In particular, you can see that Bublé and McEntire are really vibing together. Their chemistry and harmonies definitely brought the performance to the next level. Fans were loving seeing the awesome foursome in action together and added comments such as “The way these four bounce off each other is iconic. I’ve never seen coaches click like this before!” and “I don’t think I’ve ever actually heard Snoop straight up SING before!”
It’s not unusual for the coaches’ performances to be highlights on The Voice. McEntire and Horan previously teamed up with John Legend and Gwen Stefani for an instant classic rendition of “Take It Easy” by the Eagles. The harmonies are just so satisfying to listen to on this cut. When you’ve got that kind of vocal talent on stage together, you get something really special.
The Music Man has to say that “The Joker” was certainly the perfect choice for the coaches’ song given the 2025 lineup. Snoop Dogg was just made to deliver that “some call me the gangsta of love.” Who knew Snoop had the makings of a smooth R&B singer in him? Furthermore, the vocal talent on display from the quartet was certainly nothing to sneeze at, and the cheeky lyrics fostered a feel-good performance that the coaches certainly made the most of. Fans also appreciated the significance of seeing Horan singing and having fun in a vocal group again. Horan has seldom sung in a vocal quartet since the end of One Direction in 2016, so it was a special moment for fans to see him enjoying the moment together with the coaches’ group.
