3-year-old worship drummer Misha is causing an absolute sensation online! The most adorable drummer in the world thundered his way through his first ever drum cover on Elevation Worship’s “Praise”, and 1.9 million fans just can’t get enough. It’s not all just about the cuteness factor though. The Filipino talent can seriously groove on the kit. Most kids this age can’t tie their own shoelaces, but Misha is already powering through big drum arrangements like a boss!
Misha kicked off the cover with a groovy rhythm on his toms. He then dialled down the dynamics in the verse, creating a funky groove on the hi-hats and cymbals. The kid then brought it all together for the main hook. And the best part? Misha just loves doing what he does on the kit, and it comes through so strong in the performance. You just have to smile watching the youngster bring the power and passion on his kit.
The choice of track carries plenty of musical weight. Originally released on Elevation Worship’s 2023 album Can You Imagine, “Praise” features vocalists Brandon Lake, Chris Brown and Chandler Moore. Behind the soaring chorus, the original recording was built from the ground up around a commanding rhythm section. Band member Chris Brown later noted that the arrangement was drum-driven, shaped by the collaborative work of percussionists Dominic Geralds and Vincent Baynard during recording sessions.
Misha’s take on “Praise” kicked off his YouTube debut with a bang in May 2025, instantly winning fans around the world. The young sticksman has since uploaded a total of nine videos, most of which have also gone viral, drawing five- and six-figure views on his YouTube channel. Misha hasn’t been resting on his laurels though, as in July 2026, he uploaded a grooving take on Matt Redman’s “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)”.
Misha certainly has some excellent taste. “Praise” spent 31 weeks at the top of Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart and swept major industry honours throughout 2024. It took home Worship Recorded Song of the Year at the 55th GMA Dove Awards, followed by Top Christian Song at the Billboard Music Awards. For any musician picking a cover track, it represents one of the most recognizable rhythm tracks in the genre.
Misha’s performance take on “Praise” remains his most popular video on YouTube. The young Filipino drummer joined YouTube on May 15, 2025, uploading his “Praise” cover the same day. He has since turned four, and built up a following of 15,300 subscribers on his YouTube channel, which is managed by his parents.
