This video shows three extremely talented bagpipe players – also known as Goddesses of Bagpipes – slaying not one but two rock songs, firstly Dropkick Murphys’ ‘I’m Shipping Up To Boston’, and secondly Metallica’s mighty ‘Enter Sandman’.
Comprising Archy Jay (aka the Snake Charmer) from India, Chelsea The Piper (Dame of Drones) from the US, and Jane Espie (The Phantom Piper) from Scotland, these three ladies produce a medley of these songs that sounds like nothing you will ever have heard before. Who knew the bagpipes could sound so badass?
