Cost: A MasterClass all-access pass costs $180 per year or $15 per month. All-access means you can watch any class, with no limitations. The individual classes sell for $90 each. Considering the cost, an all-access pass seems like the most cost-effective way to go. There is a 30 day 100% satisfaction guarantee or a full refund stated on their website, “We offer a satisfaction guarantee for 30 days after you enroll in a class. If you’re not happy, we’ll issue you a refund.”

What do you get?

Most classes have 10-30 video lessons with some classes containing 10+ hours of content. You also have access to downloadable workbooks with lesson recaps, assignments and exercises you can do between videos. You can share your progress with other students of the same class to get feedback and apparently select student work is actually critiqued by the instructor.

Is it worth the money?

The all-access pass is certainly great value for money if you are committed to learning. You’ll have a year to take as many classes as you please. There will be more classes when your subscription is approaching renewal and you can then decide if it’s worth another year.
