Especially when we consider that she has only been active since 2008, it’s clear that Allred has a very bright musical career ahead of her.
Loren Allred skyrocketed to fame through The Greatest Showman, in which she performed the song “Never Enough”. This led to many opportunities for the young singer, who eventually released her debut EP, Late Bloomer, in 2021. In addition, she also had the prestigious opportunity to perform live with the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli during his 2021 American tour. It’s safe to say that her time in The Greatest Showman changed her life rather dramatically, and her hard work has paid off.
The Greatest Showman quickly became one of the most popular modern musicals practically overnight. It featured an ensemble cast of some of the world’s biggest stars, including Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron, and while it was criticized in places, it developed an incredibly strong cult following amongst fans.
“This Is Me”, the song Allred performed in the clip below, won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song at the 75th Golden Globe Awards in 2017.
