With an entire six-person band gathered around him in an intimate office setting, Lewis Capaldi’s Tiny Desk Concert was a stark contrast to his usual live performances. Not least because when performing live it was often with minimal backing, but also because he is now accustomed to selling out arena tours. His break was partially prompted by his appearance at Glastonbury Festival, which occurred shortly before he made the announcement of his touring hiatus. During his set, he struggled to finish one of his songs due to his tics.
