Kelly Clarkson’s chat show is officially over, and fans are sobbing over how she dedicated her final episode to helping women through their darkest days…

After seven years on NBC, The Kelly Clarkson Show has come to an end. But before signing off for good, Kelly Clarkson surprised fans with an extra special finale episode, featuring a performance that would earn Kelly a lasting place in the hearts of women worldwide.

Kelly Clarkson’s brand new “Sober” performance has already amassed more than 282,000 views in little more than a week. Music Man readers can check it out in the viral video below…

Kelly called the occasion “a bittersweet moment” as she asked her studio audience to submit song requests ready for her final ever Kellyoke segment. To date, Kelly has performed innumerable covers for this segment but has hardly ever brought her own songs to life on her show. But for the finale, Kelly stunned fans with songs plucked from across her own career: “Piece By Piece,” “Since U Been Gone,” “Stronger,” “Sober” and her brand new single, “I’d Be Lyin’.”

The hitmaker also included covers of “Didn’t I” and “Golden,” the latter of which has racked up an astonishing 4.4 million views to date.

Just before hitting the stage for one of her final Kellyoke songs, Kelly Clarkson revisited a charity featured on the show’s fifth season – Unshattered – ironically run by another lady named Kelly.

Clarkson revealed that the show’s fundraiser for Unshattered was the most successful of the show’s entire run, raising $100,000 towards helping women beat addiction and make their way through recovery. She dedicates her live rendition of “Sober” to women suffering with addiction; reviving her 2007 album track and fan favorite for her sea of surprised listeners.

As this video goes YouTube-viral, lifelong fans are flooding to this Kelly clip and sharing their love in the comments.

After one fan commented, “Finally, she performed Sober in her show,” others added, “Justice for Sober! What an underrated song!” and “Man, I’m still upset that so many people slept on My December [the album Sober was featured on]. To this day, it’s still my favorite album from her. That disc got me through a lot of hard years.”

As spellbound listeners notice the “soulful” and “unique” elements empowering Kelly’s voice, one fan reckoned, “I need Kelly to rerecord all of her albums as live versions so we can appreciate her vocals.” Another top commenter spoke for over two hundred viewers when they wrote, “Y’all can have ‘Golden,’ gimme this one. Her voice here just breaks me. So perfect.”
