In 2019, HomeBros dance troupe took to the dancefloor at Mayoral Training Camp, surrounded by eager students ready to witness their incredible talent. With Mayoral Dance Training specializing in online classes in almost every dance style, it was a truly special event for students to be able to come together and learn from professional dancers in person. With artists like HomeBros bringing their stunning abilities to the camp, students are sure to have left the training inspired.
Specializing in Afro Dance, HomeBros delivered a high-energy routine that had the crowd around them cheering and whooping throughout. Music Man fans will be blown away not only by their energy but also by the sheer precision of their dance moves. The simply shot yet impressive video drew in over 15M views, with fans returning over and over again to watch the video, one commenting, “My kids and the coming generations will all have to watch this video before I accept them in the family line.”
If HomeBros’ goal was to inspire the next generation of dancers, I would hazard a guess and say it must have done its job! When I watched the video, the trio looked as though they were having so much fun that all I wanted to do was get up and join them. Despite the technical difficulty of the dance moves making it more than likely that I would trip over my own feet if I attempted it myself, the sheer joy and energy of their dancing makes me want to give it a go anyway.
For over a decade, HomeBros have inspired dancers with their work all over the globe, performing at camps and intensives in places like Poland, New York, Spain and Germany. Their impact continues to grow, offering inspiration to dancers, as well as providing fans like us here at The Music Man with endless joy and entertainment. Their latest video at the time of writing shows them at Danchella in Australia, showcasing a smooth and atmospheric take on the Afro Dance style.
Seeing HomeBros’ videos is a perfect reminder of what dance can mean to people. Not only has it brought enjoyment to millions of people across the world who have flocked to watch them perform, but it has also touched the hearts of other aspiring dancers. By giving inspiration to dancers in training, they have offered a vision of not only what their dancing has the potential to look like, but the effect their dancing can have on viewers too, bringing joy and happiness to audiences worldwide.
