Flash Mob Of Dentists Lip-Sync To Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” Taking The Internet By Storm!

Students at Marquette School of Dentistry quit their studies for a sec to film one of the craziest viral dance videos we’ve ever seen here at The Music Man! Tens of professionally dressed dental students lead us through the complex of classrooms, hallways, and clinics in a one-take video, lip-syncing to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and breaking into flash mobs in every room peeked into.

The precision is awesome for an amateur video, following the lead lip-syncer of the moment through their feel-good routine before spinning to reveal yet another horde of dancers grooving in amazing synchronicity.

After a handful of guys take on the first verse, lip-syncing solo before dancing together down the halls, the camera turns to a vast team of medically dressed students filling the entire entryway in upbeat unison, running down the corridors to meet a brand new batch of dancers.

Their personalities burn bright and wholesome as the students dance in the lift, act out the lyrics, and strut to the rude-girl breakdown. And while the choreography is pretty simple to give them all an equal chance, everyone has their moment to shine, including the guy breakdancing during the finale. Making this viral vid even more wholesome, the dentists-to-be are clearly loving every moment while their vivid camaraderie encapsulates the core of student life.

Marquette students choreographed the entire routine, and the marvel of the one-take vid grows even greater considering they filmed it themselves too. Not bad for a bunch of non-arts students!

While giving a glimpse into the Wisconsin university’s design, this feel-good vid also “attests to the family vibe we have here at Marquette,” as noticed by dental student Pinkesh Shah, talking to WISN 12 News.

Their sensational, 7.2M-times-viewed “Shake It Off” video isn’t the only viral moment Marquette School of Dentistry has created. The official Marquette ASDA YouTube channel hosts a total of ten student flashmobs thus far, and it seems that since their first viral hit with “Shake It Off,” these flashmob vids have blossomed into an annual school tradition. The staff has gotten involved too, and even the University’s President, Dr. Michael Lovell, joined in on the following year’s hit, taking centre-mob in the 3M-times-viewed “Footloose” flash dance.

Other songs studding Marquette’s lip-sync repertoire include “My Shiny Teeth and Me” taken from the noughties’ Nickelodeon cartoon Fairly Odd Parents, and an oddly hilarious Christmas special of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” in which some students take on lip-syncing with a mouth packed with dental tools. Absolute nightmare fuel for dentophobes, however!
