When she was only four years old, Angelica became infected with severe bacterial pneumonia. She became extremely ill, going into septic shock and suffering multi-organ failure, which caused permanent scarring to her right lung. It also severely damaged her kidneys, and Angelica had to undergo dialysis for a year and a half until she received a kidney from her mother.

It seems unbelievable that she appeared on America’s got talent only five years after her initial illness and only four years after the ordeal of her organ transplant. Nevertheless, she impressed all the judges at her audition when.

She sang the Andra Day song Rise Up. She gave such an amazing performance in the judge cuts round that she received a golden buzzer and went straight through to the next stage. She sang beautifully in the live shows; some of the highlights were Without You by David Guetta feat.

Usher and Symphony by Zara Larsson and Clean Bandit. They were all exceptional performances, but some on Angelica’s YouTube channel are every bit as beautiful, such as this cover of Adele’s Easy On Me.
