When Britain’s Got Talent star Ace Clvrk teamed up with Luke Silva in Leicester Square, fans were left in tears after being bowled over by his emotional take on Billie Eilish and Khalid’s “Lovely.” The pair traded gorgeous vocal lines throughout, but it was Clvrk’s heart-wrenching final scream that had everyone hitting repeat. In a masterclass of vocal dynamics, the Reading-based R&B singer went into the final section with a breathy falsetto before transitioning into a searing scream and then back into falsetto.

You’ve also got to hand it to Silva, who sang a honeyed R&B vocal to open the song before switching up to a classy backing vocal as Clvrk brought the song home.
Silva uploaded his duet with Clvrk to YouTube on October 16, 2024, and it has since drawn 3.2 million views on the platform. Clvrk made a big impression on viewers, who added comments such as “Have you ever heard someone sing something so profoundly and just wept because you were so unbelievably moved by the emotion in their voice?” and “I’ve listened to this hundreds of times, and yet the voice still gives me chills. Incredible—especially the ending. It’s just amazing.”
Silva and Clvrk had such chemistry on their duet, the pair just had to team up again. On February 7, 2025, Silva dropped a studio version of his duet with Clvrk on “Lovely.” Silva gets to shine just after the one-minute mark with an angelic falsetto, and The Music Man knows he doesn’t have to tell you that Clvrk’s iconic outro vocal is there in all its glory.
Ace Clvrk first came to broader public attention in 2024 with his appearance at age 29 on Britain’s Got Talent. He first auditioned on Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” but Simon Cowell asked to hear another song. Clvrk then dropped his cover of Eilish’s “Lovely,” which clinched him the audition. Clvrk is clearly a big Eilish fan as he came back in the semi-finals to perform her song “What Was I Made For?” Despite gaining a fair amount of praise from the judges for his performance, Clvrk was eliminated in the semi-finals round.
