Taylor Swift And Luke Bryan Make History On The Red Tour With Duet Of “I Don’t Want This Night To End”

It’s not every day that you get to see two huge artists come together to create one special moment for their fans, but that’s exactly what Taylor Swift and the American country legend Luke Bryan did during Swift’s Red Tour in 2013.

While fans certainly expected some special things to happen during Taylor Swift’s sellout world tour, which spanned from March 2013 to June 2014, they likely weren’t expecting a special version of Luke Bryan’s classic “I Don’t Want This Night To End” to be recorded during the tour, with Luke Bryan himself sharing the stage with Taylor Swift. With the audience in the palm of her hands, Taylor Swift teases her fans by saying: “You know how special you are to me, you know how much I love you, right? So you must have known that I wasn’t going to show up here without a surprise for you… and this one’s really good!” Needless to say, the audience lost their minds when they realized that a brand new duet was about to happen in front of them, and Luke Bryan could be seen beaming with excitement as he entered the stage.

Luke Bryan is a world-renowned country singer who has gone from strength to strength with each of his releases and has amassed around 30 number-one hits throughout his career. Not only that, but he has received several Country Music Awards, including ‘Album Of The Decade’ for his 2013 release Crash My Party, and an award for ‘Entertainer Of The Year from the Academy Of Country Music Awards. Despite it being a consistent request from fans after this incredible duet, the duo did not record this song together in the studio afterward. Perhaps this was for the best, and it was best placed as a magical, random surprise that happened during one of the biggest tours the modern mainstream music world has ever seen.
