Virtuoso Italian Pianist Ludovico Einaudi’s Emotive Live Performance In Milan Will Make You Feel Things

Ludovico Einaudi can do wondrous things on a grand piano. The Italian virtuoso scored a 2.2 million view viral video with his scintillating live cut of his song “Experience” at Teatro dal Verme in Milan. The song is very fittingly titled as Einaudi and his band truly create an experience that can sweep you away and make you get lost in the music. In addition to Einaudi’s gorgeous melodies, the violin and cello players really shine by creating a moving counterpoint with an insistent and catchy rhythm.

Einaudi’s albums mostly chart in Europe, but The Music Man is glad to see YouTube is allowing a global audience to hear his music. In addition to making his name as an original artist, Einaudi composes for film, and it’s easy to guess that from watching “Experience” live. Listening to his enigmatic music can make you imagine a space opera or dizzying Dan Brown thriller unfold in your mind’s eye.

Einaudi performed “Experience” in December 2023 and uploaded a video of the performance to his YouTube channel the following year. Fans really enjoyed the live version of the song and added comments such as “This is my favourite piece of his, it transports me into a different world. Thank you, Mr Einaudi, for sharing your gift with us!” and “Ludovico Einaudi steals my heart with each song and every performance!”

Einaudi released “Experience” on January 21, 2013, as the 12th track of his studio album In a Time Lapse.
