I love seeing young musicians collaborate with musicians from earlier generations, as I know many of our Music Man readers do, too. However, watching this video, I truly appreciated the opportunity to see the pride Bonnie showed toward Norah as well. It’s easy to imagine how special it is to walk in the footsteps of those who have influenced you, but it’s particularly special to see someone appreciating the talent of someone they have influenced themselves.
This wasn’t the only song the two collaborated on at the concert that night. They also performed a duet of Bonnie’s song ‘I Don’t Want Anything to Change’. This collaboration proved why they made the perfect musical partnership, as they both clearly poured their hearts and souls into the song. It is undeniable that these two share a rare and beautiful musical talent, but their ability to connect to the music and tell the emotional story behind it is what makes them such a perfect duo.

It is not often that we get to see two artists of this caliber collaborate, so having these recordings to return to over and over is the ultimate gift.
