This is a beautiful video from the YouTube channel “SHEA” who conducted a social experiment at a high school in Chicago. The high school student was producing this video as an independent project which ended up turning into a social experiment with really intriguing results.

The project, or social experiment, sought to capture people’s reactions as they were told that someone thought they were beautiful. SHEA clarifies on her channel that she never wanted to get a reaction out of people, her goal was to film things she found beautiful and the video is the end result.

Trying to get the hashtag #breathebeauty trending with this project, SHEA actually got a lot more than she bargained for. The video has now been watched by over 22M people and has spread untold amounts of positive vibes across the world.

The video was recorded at Chicago High School for the Arts, which is a public four–year college preparatory visual and performing arts high school located in the Humboldt Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The project was recorded as part of an integrated arts class instructed by Catarina Araujo and Natalie Chami.

Hopefully, you found this video as beautiful as millions of others have. It only takes a second to compliment someone, and as you can see, it can have dramatic effects.
